The public is invited to “Knock Cancer Out of the Park” with Memorial Medical Center and the Modesto Nuts on Saturday, June 9, when the Nuts challenge the Bakersfield Blaze at John Thurman Field in Modesto. The event will highlight breast cancer awareness and feature valuable health

Commemorative “Knock Cancer Out of the Park” t-shirts, game tickets and special seating will be available for breast cancer survivors on a first-come, first-served basis. Breast cancer survivors may call 209-569-7789 for more information.

Entertainment begins at 6 p.m. and game time is 7:05 p.m. Staff from Memorial will provide cancer awareness information and sell special pink t-shirts in honor of the occasion.
